Moissanite is known for its extraordinary sparkle, even surpassing diamonds in brilliance and fire. Its refractive index (2.65-2.69) is significantly higher than that of a diamond, meaning it captures and reflects light like no other gemstone.
With a hardness of 9.25 on the Mohs scale, moissanite is nearly as hard as a diamond (10), making it highly resistant to scratching, chipping, and everyday wear. It’s a stone built to last a lifetime.
