Where It All Started

Leah Alexandra Jewelry was born from a lifelong obsession with gemstones and a vision to create timeless treasures that connect people to their memories, milestones, and inner sparkle.

What began in 2006 at Leah’s kitchen table in Vancouver has since grown into a globally recognized brand, celebrated for its signature gemstone-forward designs, effortless layering pieces, and meaningful heirlooms that transcend trend. With a background in design, metal-smithing, and a discerning eye for detail, Leah turned her passion for gemstones into a beloved jewelry line worn by celebrities like Jessica Alba and Reese Witherspoon, and featured in Vogue, Elle, and InStyle.

Inspired by the World

Leah’s inspiration is deeply rooted in travel and the natural beauty of the world around us. From the vibrant palettes of Jaipur to the refined elegance of Italy, her journeys have shaped the collections in both subtle and striking ways. Each destination adds to her design language, whether it’s through gemstone sourcing, artisan techniques, or color stories that evoke a sense of place.

We work closely with partners around the world to ethically source our gemstones, including moonstone, pearl, opal, aquamarine, and emerald. Many of our stones are hand-selected from regions renowned for their quality and history, including Jaipur, India, and the hills of Italy. This global perspective is what makes every Leah Alexandra piece feel storied, layered, and distinct.

What Sets Us Apart

A large portion of our jewelry is thoughtfully handcrafted in-house by our talented production team. Just behind our flagship boutique in Vancouver’s Mount Pleasant neighborhood lies our open-concept studio and head office — a space where creativity, collaboration, and craftsmanship come together. From the first sketch to the final polish, this is where ideas take shape.

We produce a wide range of pieces in-house, including many of our gemstone and pearl designs, Spark Studio permanent styles, and our core collection of necklaces, bracelets, anklets, earrings, and select rings. Much of our metal is shaped and carved by hand, while our beaded, pearl, and gemstone pieces are carefully strung and assembled in our studio. Each piece is made by hand — crafted to last and designed to be lived in.

Customization and Personal Touches

Since we create so much of our jewelry in-house, we’re happy to accommodate customizations on many of our pieces. Whether it’s a different clasp, bracelet length, necklace measurement, or sizing adjustment, we invite you to reach out to our team. Our pieces are meant to feel personal, and we love working with you to ensure your jewelry fits just right.

Our Spark Studio

Our Spark Studio — home of our permanent jewelry experience — offers a wider selection of chains, connectors, and charms in-store than what’s currently listed online. If you’ve seen something in-store or in our Spark Studio Menu that isn’t on the site, feel free to reach out to info@leahalexandra.com. We’re happy to create custom Spark orders for our online customers as well.

Our Materials

Every gemstone is ethically sourced and carefully selected for its unique character, colour, and energy. Whether it’s the rainbow flash of moonstone, the soft shimmer of rose quartz, or the deep green of emerald, no two are exactly alike. Our pieces are crafted using 10k or 14k solid gold, 14k gold fill, gold vermeil, and sterling silver — meant to be worn every day and passed down through generations.
